Robert S. Hogan
Trial Lawyer
Rob has practiced law for over 10 years, concentrating his practice on personal injury and insurance litigation. He is a Lubbock Native, and a graduate of Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech School of Law. He has also served as an adjunct professor of law at Texas Tech School of Law. He has been married for 14 years and has three children. Rob is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Rob has not applied for specialization with the Texas or New Mexico Boards of legal specialization.
Rob began practicing in Lubbock with Gorsuch & Byrd in 1996. In 1997, he moved to Killeen, Texas, where his wife was stationed on active duty in the United States Army, and practiced personal injury law at The Law Office of William T. Wilson, in nearby Temple, Texas. After three years, he returned to Lubbock, and the Gorsuch & Byrd firm, which became Byrd & Associates in 2001.
In 2003, Rob returned to personal injury practice, joining the Law Offices of Kevin Glasheen, L.L.P. Here, he worked as a senior level associate, managing complex personal injury cases including wrongful death cases, trucking and motorcycle cases, oilfield accidents, and railroad crossing collisions. In December 2006, Rob opened his own firm, The Law Office of Robert S. Hogan, and continues to handle serious personal injury cases.
Rob has been a guest lecturer on Railroad Litigation for the American Association of Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association), and is a past president of the South Plains Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to maintaining an active law practice, Rob serves on the school board of Christ the King Cathedral School, in Lubbock, and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He also coaches youth soccer, and is an avid hunter and geocacher.
